At Ribblesdale school, teaching and learning is based upon a language rich, story based, holistic curriculum where children’s wellbeing is at the heart. Here is an overview of the topics learnt about in Year 1 and the books that will be at the heart of the learning.
ILOs (Independent Learning Opportunities) have replaced homework at Ribblesdale. They are a list of activities and tasks that your child can complete at home which will enhance their learning in class.
Curriculum newsletters will be sent out each half-term and will update parents on the events taking place in each class.
