Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural (SMSC) development is integral to all aspects of the learning, ethos and culture at Ribblesdale. We celebrate the wide range of values, beliefs, and experiences that shape a young person’s identity and understanding of the world around them. At Ribblesdale, we believe that SMSC is a crucial aspect of education, as it helps children and young people develop a strong sense of self and an awareness of their place in society. We foster opportunities for pupils to develop a robust moral compass as they learn about various beliefs and cultures throughout the entire curriculum.
