The Business Studies curriculum at Ribblesdale introduces the world of small businesses and looks at what makes someone a successful business person. Engaging themes spark pupils’ imagination and inspire commercial thinking as they develop their business knowledge. Pupils are encouraged to find out how to develop an idea, spot an opportunity and turn that into a successful business. They develop an understanding of how to make a business effective, manage money and see how the world around us affects small businesses and all the people involved.
Depending on their pathway pupils will either follow the Edexcel GCSE or NCFE specification.
