Enrichment

Cultural capital is the accumulation of knowledge, behaviours and skills upon which a child can draw and which demonstrates their cultural awareness, knowledge and competence; it is one of the key ingredients in becoming successful in society, and in the world of work.

At Ribblesdale, we believe in providing children with opportunities to achieve goals, become successful and climb the social ladder regardless of wealth or financial capital. Cultural capital encompasses the assets that give children the desire to aspire and achieve social mobility.

To enable this, we have created the RIBBIE G*R*E*A*Ts, a list of 50 activities and experiences that children will have the opportunity to participate in during their time in the primary phase.
