Ribblesdale is a warm and welcoming school with a place for everyone. We value each and every pupil for exactly who they are and the unique contribution they bring. A large number of new pupils start here each year, which means two things: you won’t be taking this next step on your own... and there’ll be lots of potential new friends for you!

There’s also an enormous team of staff, and the first priority of every single staff member is to make sure you feel safe.

If there’s anything bothering you, or something you need to talk about – you can speak to your Form Tutor or Pastoral Co-ordinator, or simply turn to any adult you feel comfortable talking to.

All members of staff have been specially trained to know how to help and have many years of experience.

If, for any reason, you don’t want to approach a member of staff and start a conversation, you can use the one-touch ‘Green Heart’ link on your Form Team. This is a quick and easy way to report something and a member of staff will soon be in touch to follow up with you to check everything’s ok and see how we can help.
