Your academic lessons will make up just one part of your school life.

Alongside lessons, you will access a wealth of opportunities to learn in different ways: to volunteer, pick up new skills, delve into unexpected hobbies, try different careers, understand politics, explore economics, build healthy relationships, learn about staying safe online and much, much more!

Ribblesdale wants pupils to grow into naturally curious, well-rounded, successful, kind, confident and capable adults. (If we wanted to produce robots, we would ask the DT department to crank up one of our 3D printers!)

Our personal development offer is so highly regarded, it was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2020. Since then, we have continued to build upon it year by year so that all our pupils can enjoy a rich and rewarding school experience and go on to be happy and successful.
