As we are a new primary provision, our whole school curriculum overview is under construction and will evolve as we grow.  

In the EYFS at Ribblesdale School, teaching and learning is based upon a language rich, story based, holistic curriculum with children’s well-being at its heart. Pupils are immersed in a range of experiences to enhance their knowledge and understanding and to embed their learning. Independence and further exploration are encouraged to ensure that our children become confident, aspirational, articulate learners who are ready for the next stage of their education.

We are fortunate that we have experienced primary staff with a wealth of knowledge who are able to create a bespoke curriculum which will challenge and engage the children in our school. Unique to the primary provision at Ribblesdale is the  specialist subject-specific knowledge of the teachers and leaders at the secondary provision. Primary and secondary staff will work collaboratively to ensure exciting units of work are planned which will ensure smooth progression not only through the primary phase but also into the secondary phase. Children attending Ribblesdale's primary provision will enjoy not only our brand-new, state of the art facilities, but the specialist teaching in such subjects as technology, modern languages, art, computing and physical education that only an all-through school can provide.
