Wow, what a night we had on Monday 5th December at Ribblesdale’s GRAB event. The evening was kicked off with a fantastic performance from our year 10 girls who performed a singing dance routine. The evening went from strength to strength with act after act performing fantastically. After all the performances, the public were asked to cast their vote for the best 4 acts and the judges, which included Miss Julia Vercoe, Emma from the Grand, Julia Billington, Our very own Nathan Peel, Mr. Watson from the governors and GRAB winner Naj Shakoor, all cast their vote. It was a tense 15 mins and the results were in!

Children In Need Fundraising
Well done to all pupils and staff at Ribblesdale for raising money on Children in Need day on Friday 18th November 2011. Below is a breakdown of the total amount of money raised.
Non-uniform (Y7, 8, 9 & 11): £1,086.10
Singing in the yard: £73.83
9F cake sale: £61.00
Mrs McCleod food sale: £109.49
Total: £1,330.42

Cheerleading Squad has something to Cheer about!
Ribblesdale High School cheerleading squad have finished off a truely amazing year with yet more success at Blackpool Tower recently. The squad which now comprises of over 60 pupils from all year groups in school now compete in 5 competitions a year and have amassed in incredible 63 individual trophies since they started from scratch 2 years ago. As well as solo events they now have a Y8-11 team who have also enjoyed success this year.
