Keeping our pupils safe online is a key message at Ribblesdale and one we share with the Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 6th February 2018. The internet is a fantastic resource that all of our pupils use regularly for the benefit of their studies as well as socialising and sharing their life stories with friends and family. Being online safe on most occasions and many, many fond memories can be found by browsing social media applications. Sometimes, it can be an unkind place where seemingly harmless information, innocent words and lovely pictures can be distorted, abused and can cause harm. Staying safe online is essential to 21st technology and by joining forces with campaigns such as SID, we always aim to inform our pupils of the best ways to stay safe.
