Ribblesdale is situated in the market town of Clitheroe, at the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley. The school has a long and distinguished tradition, meeting the needs of many young people who have grown up, lived and appreciated the local area and contributed to its economy.

Ribblesdale School has high expectations of its students, its parents and itself. We aim to exceed, not just meet, our expectations. In recent years we have invested heavily in excellent teachers, up to date resources and the school’s facilities.

Our best attribute is our staff, whose inspirational teaching and innovative practices have been carefully developed over the last few years and nationally recognised. A large school perhaps, but with the ability to add value through an exceptionally diverse curriculum where our students are individually cared for in a supportive and educationally challenging environment.
