Young Enterprise – Presence

21 members of Year 10 have formed a Young Enterprise company called “Presence”. The Managing Director is Luke Wilde and his assistant is Shameema Yusuf. There are 14 other directors with everyone else being an employee. Presence issued shares in the company to raise start-up capital to begin production of our first product – greetings cards. We have a range of cards available for all occasions from new baby to birthday to new home etc. Of course, with Christmas only just behind us, much of our energy has been going into producing and selling Christmas cards. We had a stall at Pickwick Night in Whalley on 1st December where we were very successful and made sales of around £150.

Later in the year the team hope to bring you a local restaurant guide/recipe book – perfect as a gift for any occasion.  Our website www.rhspresence.co.uk  is currently under construction and will be the best place to find out more details.
