Hospitality and Catering Meal

On Monday 4th April saw The Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students put on a super three course meal for local businesses within the community. It was the schools way of saying thank you to the many businesses who give up their time and facilities to nurture and help the future employees of the local area.

Deputy Headteacher Mr Davidson who spearheads the links in various formats said “ There are literally hundreds of people within the Clitheroe area who help our pupils, either by offering work placements, extended vocational placements, host visits, act as guest speakers or involve themselves in curriculum projects which gives the pupils real hands on learning experience and gives them the opportunity to apply learning” “ This was the schools way of saying thank you” he added. The evening was supplemented by entertainment from the John Wykham Trio, a local jazz and blues band gaining a huge reputation in the Ribble Valley.

Mr Davidson would like to thank all pupils and staff for putting on such a splendid event which was enjoyed by all.
