Sports Week
This week (29th June 09 – 3rd July 09) at Ribblesdale was ‘Sports Week’. In their coaching sessions, pupils decided on teams, managers and assistant managers which would participate in Cricket and Rounders matches. As well as this, pupils made sports pledges to try and encourage them to try to participate in more sporting activities and try new things!
Each year group in Key Stage 3 spent a day competing between coaching groups in order to reach the finals which were played at the end of each day. The event was a huge success, with both staff and pupils enjoying the weather and sporting events that took place. Congratulations to all pupils that took part!
